Fahad arrived in Kenya a week ago, reportedly to launch his book, His visit was unexpected, as he has faced restrictions in other countries due to his alleged ties to extremist groups, Sources claim he obtained a visa through illegal means, bribing officials with the help of a Kenyan lawyer, Despite concerns about his presence in Kenya, he continued with his plans until authorities took action against him.
On the evening of his arrest, Fahad was staying at a hotel in Nairobi. He was about to leave for a planned Iftar gathering when security officers stormed the hotel and detained him. Witnesses say he was taken away without resistance, though he appeared surprised by the sudden move.
After his arrest, security officers quickly transported Fahad to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. He was handcuffed as authorities escorted him to JKIA.
