The meeting was hosted by President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House Nairobi and besides Museveni, other leaders in attendance included DRC’s Felix Tsishekedi, Paul Kagame of Rwanda, Burundi’s Evariste Ndayishimiye and Salva Kiir Mayardit of South Sudan, Tanzania’s Samia Suluhu was represented at the meeting by the country’s high commissioner to Kenya John Stephen Simbachawene.
Normally, when heads of state and other foreign dignitaries tour the country, they are accorded a high-profile reception which includes security and designation of motor vehicles that they use during their visits, However, for Museveni, the arrangements were all different as he seemed to have had his own vehicle transported to Nairobi prior to his Monday visit.
