Somali Foreign Policy Meltdown: President’s Covert deals Leave Somalia Mission Isolated..

Uncategorized

Somalia Foreign Policy is currently facing a state of disarray, leaving the nation without a clear foreign policy agenda  and lacking effective leadership to guide its international relations, the root causes of this chaotic situation appear to stem from the President himself, Hasan Sheik and his family’s involvement in running the Somali foreign Ministry…

The Absence of a cohesive and focused foreign policy has left Somalia adrift in the international arena, the lack of clear guidance and a national agenda  has significantly undermined the country’s position on global stage, President Hassan leadership, or lack thereof, has come under scrutiny raising questions about his intentions and actions in managing Somalia’s international relations.

Alarming revelations have emerged concerning    President Mohamoud daughter (Jihan) & Son (Cabdiqani) they are actively involved in the operation of Somalia’s fishery & Foreign ministers, this actions has raised concerns about nepotism and the potential for a lack of transparency and accountability within in the Ministry’s, to shield himself from potential scrutiny over his actions and activities during foreign trips, the President appears to have taken an conventional approach, he has deliberately rendered  the entire Somali Diplomatic foreign missions irrelevant, thereby bypassing traditional diplomatic channels, this tactics ensure that his dealing with other countries remain discreet and undocumented through official channels.

As a result of this unorthodox approach to foreign relations, Somalia’s standing in the world has been significantly damaged, Numerous countries that previously maintained  diplomatic relations with Somalia are now instructing their foreign ministries not to engage with Somali missions in their countries, this erosion of trust and diplomatic engagement could have dire consequences for Somalia’s place in the Global community.

A recent example of this peculiar behaviour is President Hassan planned trip to Italy, it has been come to light that Somalia currently lacks an active embassy in Italy and does not have an event-acting ambassador to handle basic diplomatic services during the President’s visit, instead a private Italian lobbying group, effectively sidelining the official diplomatic mission of his government, is managing the President’s itinerary and arrangements.

Some Source said, while in Italy in addition to FAO meeting The President is scheduled to meet with Italian Businessmen and Oil companies, the Somali Government and its institutions are not aware of the agenda for this discussions, he will probably sign agreements and contracts that be kept secret from Somali People and Federal institutions.
